kraju, którzy również jak my są fascynatami systemu.
Na blog Pauli
Thomas trafiłem zupełnie przypadkowo. Tak na prawdę szukałem torby
fotograficznej. Znalazłem torbę, którą prezentowała właśnie Paula. I
zaciekawiony poszedłem dalej. I tak po nitce do kłębka trafiłem na pyszności,
które przygotowała i sfotografowała Paula Thomas.

Paula Thomas
należy do entuzjastów Olympusa, a jej ulubionym tematem i zarazem specjalnością
jest fotografia potraw. Lubi także fotografię krajobrazową. Jest osobą bardzo
aktywną na portalach społecznościowych. Prowadzi bloga o zdrowym odżywianiu
załączając zdjęcia, które sama wykonuje. Pracowała wcześniej na aparatach
analogowych, którymi nadal lubi robić zdjęcia do dziś, choć już nie tak często jak
kiedyś. Paula mówi o fotografii analogowej:
You can’t
just “shoot and spray” like some people do with digital.
W chwili
obecnej Paula Thomas wykorzystuje do pracy Olympusa OM-D E-M5, który zastąpił klasyczną
lustrzankę cyfrową. Jej ulubionym zestawem jest E-M5 z podpiętym obiektywem 45mm F
1.8 - oczywiście Olympusa.

" I'm
the author of the food blog, Gapey's Grub, as well as a stock photographer with
Getty Images. I enjoy shooting a variety of subjects but food and landscapes
are my favorites. My blog is all about
healthy eating and I frequently blog about recipes I've tried from my cookbooks
or that I've found on the web and sometimes post some recipes of my own. I will occasionally do a restaurant review
with lots of photos to go along with each post.
It wasn't
until I got my hands on the OMD E-M5 that I made my decision to sell all my
DSLR gear and start buying all the m43 lenses I could get my hands on. Not only
is the OMD nice to look at, but its performance is amazing. The low light
capability far exceeds that of my previous DSLRs and you gotta love the 5-axis
image stabilization in the body. I rarely need to use a tripod because it's
that good. For those that think the body is too small or awkward, you gotta try
it with the accessory grip. The grip makes a huge difference in the ergonomics
and is more comfortable to shoot with. Between Olympus and Panasonic, there is
a great selection of quality lenses. I now have more micro four thirds lenses
than I had four thirds lenses and I still want more. How that happened, I'm not
sure. I really love the size of the OMD. It's a perfect fit for me and it goes
with me everywhere.
Since getting
the OMD, I've been playing more with hybrid photography which combines stills,
video and audio and have been sharing some of my experiences with this new way
of doing photography on discovermirrorless.com and smallcamerabigpicture.com,
in addition to sharing product reviews and tutorials. I still don't regret
selling my DSLR and am looking forward to seeing what new features the next OMD
will bring.
